IMPROV

URBAN IMPROV

is short for “improvisation” - a performance where we call upon the actors to make up a scene as they go. Much improv is geared toward comedy, but serious scenes can be improvised as well.

is what we call scenes and experiments we do in public. Watch for us on campus - we could be anywhere!

SHORT FORM

LONG FORM

Quick games or scenes with a small number of performers.  Can incorporate audience.

Harolds, montages, and improvised plays. Long form puts more emphasis on character and plot than short form.

FILMS

THEATERSPORTS

We are always looking for ways to get in front of a camera, and have made short films based on our urban improv antics.

Improv games with judges! Performers form teams and compete to be the funniest and most entertaining.

WORKSHOPS

You can get a taste of all of this and more at our

Performing at community venues (like schools) to share and teach our craft to the masses!
